Three KMBC journalists who sued the ABC affiliate for age and gender discrimination have reached a settlement with the station. KMBC management made the announcement at a Thursday staff meeting. The three — Kelly Eckerman, Peggy Breit and Maria Albisu-Twyman, known on air as Maria Antonia — will be staying on at the television station.
